Why it is built this way

A journal is the worst thing to keep on someone else’s server.

The self-management side of this holds what you avoided, what you keep repeating, and what you told yourself about it. That belongs on your own machine, encrypted, with no account attached. It also means most actions answer like a local query instead of waiting on a network.

It reads as a cockpit checklist rather than a mood app. No affirmations, no streaks to protect, nothing congratulating you.
